We are excited to share that our partners at Badgerland IT Services are spinning out a new app for individuals with disabilities called WheeliWorld! WheeliWorld is an interactive software application that will enable individuals with disabilities to determine whether they can fully access a venue that they would like to visit.
WheeliWorld’s online directory will consist of venues with 360° photos highlighting key features such as parking lots, entranceways and bathrooms that will determine their accessibility.
In addition, each venue profile will contain data about the venue, including a discussion forum for tips and reviews from visitors. To make the app widely available, the WheeliWorld team is forming a new company that will be based in Milwaukee.
WheeliWorld is seeking B-Corp certification because of the potentially great social impact the app will have in communities. If you are interested in becoming a field agent to photograph venues for the online directory, please contact dj@wheeliworld.com
